Claudia Magalhaes Miglorancia

Cello

Claudia began studying the cello at the age of 11. In Brazil, I completed approximately four and a half years of formal musical training while also teaching private lessons. After moving to the United States, I studied cello for six months at a conservatory in Michigan, where I had the opportunity to study with Yawen Hsu. I also continued performing at private events, church services, and other community events in Michigan and Kansas. Currently, I have received a 100% music scholarship to attend Butler Community College, which I earned through my musical performance of The Swan by Camille Saint-Saëns and Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1. As a cellist and music therapist, I believe that music can have a meaningful impact on people’s lives. My goal is to help each student develop good technique and confidence and, most importantly, a genuine love and appreciation for the cello and music.
